How Bobbie Keeps Projects Clean and Organized

Simple and Effective Tips

By , About.com Guide

Bobbie explains how she keeps her projects clean.

I work on a large floor frame when doing cross-stitch. To keep my work clean when not stitching, I use a plastic trash bag (kitchen size) with draw strings. I simply slip the bag over the frame or Q-snap, draw the strings tight so no dust or dirt gets in and I know it's secure and clean while it's waiting to be stitched.

I keep my floss for each project in a pretty tin. Each color is in it's own separate small bag with the floss name and number on the side and top of the bag.

When I'm not stitching, I simply put the lid on the tin and I know my floss is organized, clean and safe from any type of spills and dirt.
