jberg16's Tip About Creating a Custom Bag for Stitching

Use Plastic Sheeting to Protect Your Stitching

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

jberg16 recently posted this tip in the Cross Stitch Forum:

She and her husband both stitch and he enjoys creating large projects. They use plastic sheeting to make a "big plastic bag. "We hot glue the edges so he has a pouch large enough to place the stretcher bars in. The bag fits perfectly and the stitching can be seen all the time. (We have some regular spectators that visit and just have to see what's new or how it's going.) The plastic bag keeps the project clean and visible!"
