Michelle's Tip on Substitute Interfacing

Use a Common Household Item for Interfacing

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

Michelle shares her substitute interfacing tip. She writes, "I had run out of interfacing for a project, awhile back. I found that using a used dryer sheet works just as well. And it is recycling." Michelle has a few other tips she picked up in the laundry room She says, "A dryer lint sheet especially after drying towels is thick enough to use for batting in dollhouse quilts, pillows or cushions. Stacking several layers together makes good filling for bean bags for toss games."
