Pat's Solution for Fabric Smaller Than Hoop - User Submitted Cross Stitch Tip

Add Fabric Strips to Edges

By , About.com Guide

Pat submitted this tip about how she deals with fabric that is too small for her hoop. She writes:

If I am using a scrap of fabric and it slips, or it is too small for the hoop, I enlarge it by hand-sewing a piece of material to the sides. Then I place the fabric in the hoop. When I am done with the project, I remove the material.
