Kiera's Tip on Keeping Your Place

Highlighters Are Key

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

Kiera explains her color-coded method for keeping her place on her pattern. She writes, "I've found that the easiest way to know where I'm up to on a design is to use pink and yellow highlighter pens. Before I stitch a particular colour, I mark it off on the design using the yellow pen. When I'm done, I go over it in pink. I can see the parts I've done because they come up orange."
