Maire's Tip on Making Time For Friends and Stitching

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

Maire explains how she makes time for her friends and her stitching. She writes, "I love to Cross Stitch and I love my friends but sometimes the two just do not mix so when I want to visit and cross stitch I try to do half crosses in a large area. When I am visiting and my needlework needs to get done I can do two things at once. I just finish off the last leg without having to count. I get a lot of projects finished and I also get to show a lot of women how to do needlework since I can do this just about any where."
