Marty's Tip For Keeping Needles Clean

Use Vinegar to Keep Needles from Tarnishing

By , About.com Guide

Marty describes how she prevents needle tarnishing. She writes:

The acids in my system eat the finish off of needles in a hurry. I keep a bottle of vinegar and some cotton balls at my work place. Just wet the cotton ball and rub between your fingers then dry. This will remove dirt, oil and acids from your fingers and keep your needle in working order.
