Tip Topic: Using Interfacing to Support a Finished Project
After I have washed and dried my completed project, I measure a piece of self-adhesive interfacing to the fit the design; leave the unsewn margins around the design unlined. Using a warm (not hot) iron, I press the interfacing into place on the wrong side of the design and then leave it alone to cool (about a minute or two). The interfacing gives the project a nice weight and sturdiness, and helps to "fill in" the little spaces in the fabric you used for your design. Yet the interfacing is flexible enough for you to stretch your work when you are ready to frame it.
