This was my first corner-to-corner pattern. This is also the first pattern I stitched using the parking threads method.
Tools and Techniques Used
I used a custom made stretcher board for this piece.
I also used a floor stand.
This was stitched using the parking threads method. A lot of people are intimidated by parking threads, but once you get use to it and learn to trust yourself that you have parked your thread in the correct position, you become comfortable with it. It also works great on corner-to-corner patterns with a lot of confetti stitches.
Advice
- The only advice I have to share is to take your time when stitching and enjoy the journey of your needle.
