Design Name and Theme
I don't know if I shared this on this part of the forum or not, if so, here it is again! This project I did for my sister who has two yellow and one black lab. I had it framed (which was way to expensive, but I decided she's worth it) and gave it to her for Christmas.
Tools and Techniques Used
I did this one from a kit and it was all cross stitches, back stitching, a lot of half stitches in the background and foreground and a little couching. I used my largest hoop, since I had not yet discovered Q-snaps, but the project is about 12x14 so it didn't fit all in the hoop at once. I hate moving hoops!
Advice
- If you have to frog make sure you save as much floss as possible. Several colors ran out completely and I had to substitute from my DMC floss. This was not a kit that came with DMC and it is sometimes hard to match. Most of what I ran out of was in the foreground where there are so many confetti half stitches so the difference doesn't show.
