Name of the Pattern Used
Kiwi Diamond Candlewicking design from Connie Garmon Barwick.
I created an envelope pattern so it can be filled with a lavender-filled net pouch and refilled later. My sewing skills are beginner-level and I was creating the pattern as I went along, so it's far from perfect, but it's a lovely design and the final product is very dainty and feminine.
Candlewicking is easy once you learn the knot...this design was stitched in about two hours.
Supplies Used and Project Purpose
This project creates one sachet bag to be filled with lavender or any potpourri blend. The 'envelope' design allows the bag to be refilled or can be used as a special gift bag for someone special.

Advice
- Pre-wash and press your fabric
- Hoop the fabric tightly for best results
- Put your hoop on a flat service...knots need two hands to do properly
- Keep the working thread taut and don't be afraid to 'muscle' the thread through the knot
