Project Name and Designer
This is a Donna Kooler design and is a Christmas stocking I did for my sister the dog trainer/lover. I started this one in February (I think) and finished it in May. My sister is lucky she got it because I really liked it! I don't have a pic of after it was made into the stocking, but I gave it to her for her birthday in June.
Fabric and Floss Used
This was from a kit and is done on 14 ct white Aida with DMC floss. I was very thankful the floss that came with the kit was DMC because I can use all the left overs, and there were a lot! I kept the extra floss on a project card because there was way too much to put on my DMC spools!
Tips and Tricks
- The floss in this kit would have been impossible to separate if I did not have nearly every color of DMC there is. The colors were not separated well and the names of them did not help much with identification. Who actually knows the difference between cyclamen, dark, light, medium pink, pale lavender, etc.! I had to match the colors to what I have in my DMC boxes to get the right shades in the right places. Very tedious!
