Dangers My Pets and Projects Faced - My Experience

We always seem to have one cat who can't his nose out of what I'm sewing. The movement of my hands seems irresistibly fascinating and just has to be investigated! I'm petrified I'm going to stick a needle into a kitty's nose one day, and so when a cat turns up, I put my project down and play with them instead. It doesn't help my productivity rate though.

How I Protect My Pets and Projects

I keep pins and needles in a closed container with a secure lid, and make sure pairs of scissors don't lie around open. I also keep them away from the edge of the table, to reduce the chances of them being pushed off the edge.

Advice

  • I've given up trying to keep cat hairs off projects. I just make sure people know to expect them!
